Account Clerk II

  • Maintain facilities assets management report.
  • Audit and prepare invoices for payment of electric, gas, water, sewage, and enter into Energy Cap.
  • Audit division cell phone bill for accuracy.
  • Order replacement phones and equipment as needed.
  • Serve as back up to Account Clerk III; creating requsitions in Oracle Financials Cloud
  • Assist with answering multi-line phone system and processing work orders.
  • Assit with monitoring work order email in box.
  • Provide support to the overall operations of the Building Maintenance Division.
  • Effectively and courteously communicate with internal and external customers.
  • Individual assignments will be determined by the supervisor based on current workloads and department needs.

Minimum Requirements:

High school or GED plus two (2) years experience in fields providing the required knowledge, skills and abilities, such as clerical accounting or bookkeeping; or any equivalent combination of experience and training which provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities.

All employees may be expected to work hours in excess of their normally scheduled hours in response to short-term department needs and/or City-wide emergencies.
May require a passing score of 30 words per minute on a typing test.

Attachments Required:


Experience with answering multi-line phone system, customer service and data entry.
Experience creating and maintaining spreadsheets
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
Experience entering work orders.
Experience creating financial requisitions
Accounts Payable Experience
