Under supervision of Property Management Operations and the Controller, the Accountant performs a variety of general accounting support tasks in the Property Management department.


  • Verifies the accuracy of invoices and other accounting documents or records.
  • Updates and maintains accounting records detailing financial business transactions (e.g., disbursements, receipts, accounts payable, internal controls).
  • Enters data into computer system using defined computer programs.
  • Recommends actions to resolve discrepancies.
  • Investigates questionable data.


  • Two or Four year degree in accounting preferred but not required
  • 1 - 2 years of accounting experience, with Property Management background preferred
  • Proficiency in Excel
  • Ability to work in a team and also independently
  • Ability to accurately enter data into system

Ability to interact professionally with co-workers, management, agents and vendors
