REAL ESTATE FINANCIAL ANALYST

A privately-held residential developer and real estate investor, with a large and growing presence in the Mid-Atlantic and Southeast, is currently seeking a Financial Analyst. This position will support the finance team in monitoring and reporting for existing assets and pursuit of new growth opportunities. The ideal candidate will possess the following:

• 1-3 years of experience in an accounting or financial analysis role
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
• Strong financial modeling skills
• Working knowledge of accounting and budgeting concepts
• Good organization skills and attention to detail
• Team-oriented mindset

Duties will include but are not limited to:

• Prepare financial reports and analysis for the company’s existing land development assets
• Maintain pro forma cash flow projections
• Perform variance analysis (actual vs. budget)
• Prepare project-level reporting packages for investors and lenders
• Work with accounting department to ensure appropriate recordkeeping and reporting for real estate assets
• Assist with contracts and other administrative duties associated with the real estate portfolio
• Update and distribute consolidating reporting schedules
• Perform other ad hoc analysis as requested
• Prepare and update pro forma cash flow models for prospective projects, to include IRR and DCF calculations
